The way of trust is a movement into obscurity, into the undefined, into ambiguity, not into some predetermined, clearly delineated plan for the future...The reality of naked trust is the life of a pilgrim who leaves what is nailed down, obvious, and secure, and walks into the unknown without any rational explanation to justify the decision or guarantee the future. Why? Because the Father has signaled the movement and offered it his presence and his promise. ~Brennan Manning, Ruthless Trust |

Hi Katherine,
Could you please contact me? I am a board member for a non-profit organization called The Red Thread Promise. If you visit my blog, you will see the link for The Red Thread Promise, and you'll be able to see some of the info about the work that we do. We provide for the medical needs of orphans. We're small and poor, but we're doing what we're able to. I was in contact with another board member today, about our desire to provide for the needs of an orphanage or foster home in China. Both my girls were adopted from China. Do you know Pam from Henan? She has a blog. She teaches English and has two foster homes for orphans. Through Pam, I was aware of many children that died due to upper respiratory issues and pneumonia this winter. I told our board I'd like to see if we can provide nebulizers and medication before the next winter. I'm encouraging our group to connect with an orphanage or foster home where we can have a contact to help us know the needs, and that items have arrived. One of our board members travels to China for business, on occasion. I am also an ESL teacher and hope to teach in China in the future. I teach in Naperville, IL. You can reach me at:

Thanks!
Jeana
